Most people visiting Goa feel like they need to visit the most famous places.
However, while looking for the best and the most famous tourist spots, they often forget visiting some hidden gems of Goa which not many tourists have had the time to explore.
These places not only promise you scenic views for your Instagram feed but explore the territory in its true nature.
Today, we will talk about a beach and an adjacent lake in Goa where not many people had the chance to visit. The fact that not many have heard of this lesser-known beach, Arambol, makes it a must-visit. It is at the end of the North Goa and from there on starts South Goa. Even those visiting Arambol are unaware that a part of it is overcrowded, but there is a part which is hidden and where a sweet water pond resides blissfully, also called Sweet Lake by the locals.
About The Beach
The water at Sweet Lake is obviously sweet, and hence the name, but it also pleases the people visiting here. The water is quite clean and the place is often frequented by foreign tourists. Ahead of this beach, you can also find a forest.
A Sunset Like No Other
The sunset here is really beautiful and since the place is a bit secluded one, you can enjoy it comfortably lying on the sand, keeping all your worries at bay. The place is, however, earning gradual popularity but the crowd still remains numbered unlike other beaches of North Goa.
Planning For A Stay
The most unique thing about this place is that most of the shambles and beach hotels are run by people from Himachal or Uttarakhand, therefore, you won’t feel strange while leaving North India.
Things To Keep In Mind
If you visit this beach then keep in mind that there are not much security arrangements around, hence you are pretty much on your own. Though people here are quite helpful and comes across as good to have around, it is still advisable to abort any plans of staying here because of the heavy dose of isolation that the area comes with.
